We came home last night from our Croatia vacation. Instead of staying 10 days we only stayed 7 as we had very bad weather the last couple of days and it's not going to change for the next few days. But we had a very good time and LOVED every bit of it. The first 4 days we stayed on the island Krk in a little house with yard on the beach. Beautiful. Then we drove over to Istrien and stayed a night in Rovinij. Very, very beautiful city. Rovinij and Venezia used to be one city. It is still very similar except no channels in Rovinij. Our last couple of days we stayed on a dog camp ground in Medulin near Pula. Mara sure had fun running around all day with other dogs, never having to be on the leash.
What a beautiful country and great stories to tell. Maybe I can get Christian to write some down and post on my blog. I have to go back to do laundry again (the not so nice part after vacation).

What a gorgeous vacation! You have a lovely family. It's great to be able to see how y'all are doing. I'll post some recent photos soon. I'm on vacation next week. Unlike you, I have no excellent plans. Your aunt, Susan in Texas
